Home Paint HQ ("we," "us," "our," or the "Service") is a brand operated by ProFlux Labs LLC, a limited liability company. We operate the website at homepainthq.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from homeowners who use the Service, how we use it, and who we share it with.

The short version: when you submit our quote form, we send the information you provide (name, phone, email, ZIP code and project details) to one painting company that serves your ZIP code, or to the company that schedules estimates for it, so they can contact you about your project. By submitting the form you agree to be contacted by them and by us.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by ProFlux Labs LLC. Home Paint HQ is the marketing side: we run the website and collect your request. The painting work itself, including pricing, scheduling, warranties and customer service for the job, is provided by the painting company that serves your area, which is an independent business.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you complete our quote form, you give us:

• Your name
• Your mobile phone number
• Your email address
• Your ZIP code
• Your project details: what you want painted and when, and on some pages the size of the home and whether you own it

Phone verification

Before your request is sent, we text a 6-digit code to the mobile number you entered to confirm it is yours. We keep a record that the code was sent and whether it was confirmed.

Information collected automatically

When you visit homepainthq.com, we automatically collect:

• Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Your device type, browser and operating system
• Pages you visit and the steps you take on the Service
• The website or ad that referred you (including UTM parameters and Facebook click identifiers)
• Date and time of your visit

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers (such as analytics and advertising platforms, including the Meta Pixel) use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to understand how the Service is used and to measure advertising performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the Service works.

4. How we share your information

With the painting company for your area

When you submit the quote form, we share your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and project details with one independent painting company that serves your ZIP code, or with the company that schedules estimates for it. They will use your information to contact you about your project. Once shared, that company is responsible for how it handles your information under its own privacy practices.

With service providers

We share information with vendors who help us run the Service (for example hosting, analytics, text messaging, email and CRM tools). These vendors may only use your information to provide services to us.

For legal reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.

Business transfers

If ProFlux Labs LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Consent to be contacted (TCPA)

By submitting our quote form, you expressly consent to receive phone calls, text messages and emails from Home Paint HQ and the painting company for your project at the phone number and email address you provided, including calls and texts made using automated technology, even if your number is on a federal or state Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, by asking to be removed during a call, or by contacting us at the address below. Reply HELP for help.

6. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Your privacy rights

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to limit our use of sensitive personal information. You also have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": California law can treat sending your contact information to a painting company in exchange for compensation as a "sale" of personal information. To opt out, email us at the address below with "Do Not Sell" in the subject line. If you opt out, we cannot send your request to a painting company, which is how the Service works.

Other US states

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct and delete their personal information. Contact us at the address below to use these rights.

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Request records are typically kept for up to 3 years from submission.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
